The School Day

Breakfast Club is available for pre booked places only and entrance is only through the office gate and front door.

Other children should enter school via the Rutland Gate and Chevin Close gates only from 8.35am until 8.55am using timings and arrangements already sent out to families.

Departure will be through the same gates between 3.15pm and 3.25pm.

Nursery children will use the Nursery gate under the direction of Nursery staff.

8.00 am – Breakfast Club begins (Monday to Friday). The office gate at the front of the school is opened and the children may enter the hall.

8.35 am – The office gate at the front of the school is locked.

8.40 am – Rutland and Chevin Close gates are opened for entry to school.

8.45 am – Registration

8.45 am – Start of the school day.

8.55 am – Rutland and Chevin Close gates are locked. After this time, you will need to enter through Reception.

11.00 am- 11.15 am – KS1 and KS2 playtime. The children are supervised by teachers or teaching assistants. KS1 children will be given free fruit during this playtime. KS2 children may bring fruit.

12.15 pm – 1.00 pm – Lunchtime. The children are supervised by lunchtime supervisors.

3.10 pm – Gates open

3.15pm – End of the school day.

3.25 pm – Gates closed.

If you are delayed for any reason, or a different adult will be collecting your child, please inform the school.

Emergency Closure

If there is an emergency closure of the school i.e., heavy snowfall, you are advised to listen to Radio Shropshire. Any closure announcement will be made before 8.15 am.
